A different kind of church


When you cast a spell that conjures, contacts or otherwise summons any kind of celestial, the creature type is instead a fiend (Devil). The effects of the spell are otherwise the same for you.

At 1st level, as an action you can make an Insight check vs Deceptions check against a humanoid you can see. If you succeed you know if the creature’s soul is damned to Hell. If it is damned, you add 1d4 to your attack and damage rolls against the creature for 1 minute. A creature who succeeds against this check is immune to it for 24 hours.

Channel divinity


At 2nd level, as an action, you present your holy symbol, and any magical darkness within 30 feet of you is dispelled. Additionally, each hostile creature within 30 feet of you must make a Constitution saving throw. A creature takes fire damage equal to 2d10 + your cleric level on a failed saving throw, and half as much damage on a successful one. A creature that has total cover from you is not affected.
