Unturning, Unchanging, Eternal.
By miracle, magic or cosmic accident, Elfsatghs orbit around Rami holds it permanently between it an Knopsis. Furthermore its rotation keeps one side bathed in Knopsis' light and the other in the twilight of Ramis' illumination. Host of the High Elves and Drow. The only monolith on Elfstagh lies on the border between the light and dark hemispheres and is therefore the site of much conflict although none of it outwardly violent, guarded as it is by a trio of vigilant Titans.
All historians agree that the Empire of Light is the greatest and most permanent bastion of civilisation and enlightenment ever to grace this and any moon in the orbit of Rami. The wisdom and foresight of the governing Council of Heroes, elected every 100 years, and the even more illustrious Golden Senate elected every 300 years have served the one true race of Elvendom well over the centuries. Victory upon victory have seen the Drow scum removed from Kallipae all together, and replaced by benign High Elf guidance. Nowhere do the ideals of liberty, family, and unity shine brighter and the mission to bring this light to all has only just begun.

Days don’t exist on Elfstagh, and so the concept of a day of celebration to High Elves is a rather quaint and foreign notion that only creatures with short lifespans would think of indulging in. Since the only natural timekeeping indicators are the partial eclipses of Knopsis by other moons. Each eclipse marks a holiday, the most sacred of which is the passage of Mora over the Sun. During this period ancestors are honoured, and heroes of the war are remembered, with offerings made to the graves of both, followed by a feast.
