Grapple slinger


At 3rd level you gain proficiency with grappling hook slinger and weavers kit. Over a long rest, able to weave a number of special micro-thin translucent ‘webs’ equal to your dexterity modifier over a short rest. Webs decay over a day.

Grapple attacker


At 3rd level you are able to expend 1 web as an action to shoot your grapple sling to a target up to 60ft away and move up to 30ft towards it. You cannot be hit by opportunity attacks by moving past creatures in this way. You can also make a melee attack against a creature as you move past them, if you do so, the attack may benefit from your sneak attack.

If effects caused by your grapple slinger require a saving throw, the DC is 8+ prof. + Dexterity modifier.

Webbed arena


At 9th level you learn the alarm spell. When you set the alarm, you use your special silk, which provides a mental alert to you whenever the effects of the spell are triggered. Furthermore, you always know the location of any creature in the alarmed area so long as you are in contact with it. Your webs are almost invisible, requiring an investigation check vs your grapple slinger DC.

A creature who moves into or through the space effected by your alarm for the first time on a turn must make a Dex save vs your grapple slinger DC or the area is difficult terrain for them. If you attack a creature affected by your webs in this way, the attack may benefit from your sneak attack. A creature can make athletics check as an action on their turn to free themselves.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your intelligence modifier per long rest.

Combat grapple shot


At 13th level you may target a large or smaller creature with your grapple sling. On a hit the creature makes a dexterity saving throw vs your grapple slinger DC. On a success, their movement is reduced by half until the end of their next turn. On a failure they are grappled and fall prone. A creature can make athletics check as an action on their turn to free themselves.

As an action on your turn, you may move the creature 30ft towards you if it is lighter than you.
