Pre-Dawn
The continents of Scindra are created and shaped by Dreamwalker Stone Giants that arrive from Gladsheim.
Once the Dreamwalkers are finished, most are killed by Cloud and Storm Giants who incite a flood that fills the oceans of Scindra, but those on high-ground survive.
Fire Giants turn the oceans and seas into a cauldron of steam and minerals.
The first simple life arises on Scindra. Bane, King of the Fire Giants, claims credit for this miracle and demands to be called a God by the rest of the Ordning.
The All-Father punishes Bane’s hubris by sending an army of Frost Giants to crush the Fire Giant Empire. The war lasts several millennia, and leads to several ice-ages punctuated by periods of volcanic-induced warming.
Elatra comes to Scindra and cleaves open a portal to the raw chaos of the Elemental Planes. She banishes all the Giants that refuse to leave for Gladsheim into it. She captures Bane and the King of the Frost Giants, Kelemvor and takes them back to Bytopia.
Scindra settles into a period of relative calm.
Meiliki, Selune, and Mannan arrive in Scindra. Meiliki establishes the first forests on the land, while Mannan populated the oceans. However their efforts were hampered by the rocks that fell from the sky that had been thrown up by Bane’s war machines. Selune gathered these and created the Moon, helping to protect Scindra from things falling from the skies, and creating the inter-tidal reaches between her siblings domains.
Slumbering Era
Since the time of the Dreamwalkers the Feywild and Shadowfell are not distinct planes at this time. Instead, the difference between the ‘real’ and ‘imagined’ worlds overlap.
As the remaining Dreamwalkers see more and more life around them, they imagine more complex creatures like themselves. Dwarves appear from the dreams of these Giants in Schindra around this time.
Zorquan goes to Scindra to tame the dreams that still trapped Scindra in a state of half-slumber. They come across one of the last Dreamwalker Stone Giants at a beach of glistening gemstones. The Dreamwalker tells Zorquan to meditate at the beach. As Zorquan does, the gems begin to absorb the latent psychic energy of the Dreamwalkers and come alive as the first Gemstone Dragons. The smaller less refined grains of sand become the first Kobolds.
Zorquan and their creations cleave off the Feywild and the Shadowfell from Scindra, separating the objective Material Plane, from the subjective planes of Dreams and Nightmares. In their fight against the weird and wonderful emanations from those planes, the most powerful Gemstone Dragon, Sardior, distinguishes themselves in combat but is mortally wounded.
