Our beloved common ancestor.
Titan of the Primordial Swamp, Patron of Life, Hunger and Mutation, was created by Rami out of desperation. The people they had ferried so carefully on the fragments of world-shell she brought with them were beginning to die and no time remained to slowly prepare the surfaces of the moons one trophic level at a time. Haste was required, and so the Titan Seyarsii brought forth Life in the form of barely sentient oozes, ravenous and hungry. They quickly set about digesting minerals and toxic compounds in the air and water, producing breathable atmospheres, organic compounds, and water suitable for the development of more complex life.
From this warm slime arose the preconditions for life, and so life came, fuelled by rapid mutagenic leaps and bounds. First came mould, then soil, and then the vegetation and the insects to devour them (and devoured in return). The food web was a vicious feeding frenzy, natural selection spurred on with divine urgency, past any requirement for mere survival.
Although the influence of Seyarsii is most felt in the existence of monstrosities, disease, and the hungry, twisted wilds, those who pray for their intercession in the exploitation of resources (or the killing of others to get theirs), may sometimes attract her attention in their dreams. However, Seyarsii is also venerated as a God of Life, particularly the rebirth of barren land after a disaster.
Seyarsii now slumbers on Quastelvarn.
