The doorkeeper to the gate of heaven.
Titan of Dying and the Dead, it is Boafast who shepherds the souls not destined to burn as coal in the furnace of Knopsis instead to the loving embrace of Rami. Their task is as simple as that, and they played no part in the creation of the Moons. The day of their worship, and funerals, is often accompanied by the sounds of fire crackers and loud drums, as devotees seek to keep the slumber of Boafast light, lest they forget to retrieve the dead when the time comes.
Boafast often clashes most with Uumatar, as the Shadowfell maintained through the dreams of the latter often serves as a hiding place for spirits and worse who wish to hide from their fate or linger in the mortal world.
Worshippers of Boafast often say that in their dreams they feel a sense of l’appel du vide, a call to cross the final threshold and go to Rami. Some say that it is only the burning desire for life set into the living by Seyarsii that keeps this feeling from utterly overwhelming all mortal people, and so it is not unsurprising that a rivalry between their two cults can exists in places.
