Firstborn of Rami
With the aid of Knopsis, Rami shrouded themself in a great cloak so as to hide their radiant body in order to avoid scorching the moons they would create their orbit. Then, because celestials are necessarily long-sighted, they closed their eyes and slumbered – and from their dreams came the moon-sculptors: the Titans.
Each Titan was born from a different fragment of Rami’s dreaming subconsciousness and gifted with a different perspective of their vision. So it is not surprising that there was as much agreement as there was conflict between the Titans as they went about their work. Perhaps their conflict reflected the torment Rami felt in introducing discord into their creation, it was the discord required. None know, for the totality of Rami’s thoughts are as obfuscated as their body from even the Titans. The only thing they could agree upon was that the Moons could not be isolated from each other, and so they created the Monoliths: the great teleportation circles linking the satellites together.
Once the work was complete, Rami put the Titans to sleep, causing them to slumber just as they did. In their dreams however they continue to shape and affect the moons around them, each vying to complete the vision they were granted. In their dreams they hear the prayers of the mortal peoples, muttered and muffled in their own dreams. The act of praying to the Gods therefore is not just a matter of faith, but a matter of being able to dream as vividly as you can so that you might commune with the Titans, and they might know and use you as a vessel for their will.
There are many Titans, but the most notable Gods amongst them are noted here. Many others worked in secondary roles, assisting the main pantheon in their tasks, or were only created in order to construct and ultimately protect the Monoliths – magical miracles in their own right that would have required the combined efforts of many Titans to execute.
